HOLYCHILD Feat. RAC: Power Play (Music Video)

As if I couldn't love HOLYCHILD more. The duo's latest EP 'America Oil Lamb' has been my obsession for over a month now. One by one, each of the 5 songs has been my absolute favorite, to the extent that even my boyfriend (and probably my dog too) now knows every lyric. We've also hung out with Kate Nash and RAC on different occasions and Mereki just followed us on Twitter, so I'm pretty sure this makes us family. That said...

Of their new music video, my sister Liz Nistico said, “This is the music video for Power Play, our song with RAC. I directed this video and wanted it to be a visual representation of my current obsession: industrial pop art on sale at the local mall. In typical Brat Pop fashion the song touches upon my fear of aging, and the lyrics felt so true that for the first few months after writing them I would cringe when I listened to the song.”

All I know after watching the video a few times, is that it confirmed I'm quitting everything and clearing my schedule to become an honorary member of HOLYCHILD. Or the head of their fan club. Umbrella holder. Security guard. Backup dancer. Whatever they'll allow and before they wise up and issue a restraining order keeping me outside a mile radius of them at all times. Which would really suck since we're going on tour starting next month. Check out the video and tour dates, below!
