DYAN: Looking For Knives

If someone wrote and dedicated a song to me called "Looking For Knives," I'd be concerned. Especially, if the lyrics that followed the title were "and I'm looking for you." In the case of DYAN's new single I'm confident they know what they're doing. In the meantime, lets just pretend that frontwoman Alexis Marsh means "arrows" and that she's looking for Cupid. You'll remember with their last single "Days Upon Days," infectious singalong melodies and chord progressions burrowed deep, so basically what I'm saying is that whether Alexis finds those knives or not, you'll feel the impact of DYAN's musical cuts. This is lo-fi synth pop at its finest - with a saxophone solo to drive it all the way home.
