As I’ve gotten older, the power and importance of a lullaby has sunken into my skin. The little girl in me thought that sleep was just a wasted series of collected minutes that took away from being awake. I now know the gem sleep can be- a lullaby simply leads us to this place.

Hearing “Dogwood Blossom” sent me straight to the land of tired poppies. It’s a sweet croon that carries the up and down landscape of life in it’s feather soft chorus.
