Mike Posner: Top Of The World (Prod. Diplo & Benny Blanco)

Take notes production and arrangement nerds, this right here is a classic Benny Blanco beat. Toy keyboards grace the introductions, some lo-fi blips and beeps grace our ears in the second half of the chorus, and - of course - the groove is unmistakable. I know those kick drums, and those are some unmistakable Benny Blanco claps. In fact, I'm pretty sure they're the same claps used on Ke$ha's quite brilliant We R Who We R and Gym Class Heroes' Stereo Hearts, both of which are Benny produced numbers. And the Diplo influence on this track doesn't hurt, that's for sure.
