[BEST OF 2013] Favorite Solo Artist: Lana Del Rey

Favorite Solo Artist of 2013? Lana Del Rey. Our most notable move this year was the release of Tropico, which depicts our epic love tale, riddled with religious and pop culture subtext you've come to expect from us. Or perhaps 'Paradise' being nominated for a GRAMMY in the Pop Vocal Album category--songs we wrote together in the hills under the Hollywood sign at sunset while our bodies were electric. Or the turbulence we hit when jetting to St. Lucia; we were dancing too wildly to Cedric Gervais' remix of "Summertime Sadness" <----another GRAMMY nom. So many moments. I really shouldn't, as we try keeping our personal lives private. It's bittersweet closing this chapter of 2013, but we're excited to continue sharing our love in 2014 with Lana's new album, 'Ultraviolence,' that we've dedicated to our haters.
