“I wanted to write a song that captures an initial moment of attraction between strangers, and the thrill of the mystery that anticipates finding out their identity. “Blue Jean Baby” is an exploration of this suspense. With the help of our producer, Andrew Heringer, we worked to create a soundscape that perpetuates a feeling of confidence, and aims to encourage the start of a connection. Ultimately, it is the moment that turns a stranger into something more.”
