DYLN: Hold

Smooth vocals, fluttering echoes, and piano tones as wide as they are grand. That's what we're introduced to on DYLN's latest. After her debut "Better Things" this Brooklyn songstress takes time to show her gorgeous pipes against a more stark backdrop. When guitar and chattering percussion take hold after the spacious intro, DYLN's guides us down with a lyric that's a rallying cry to break free from anyone that's ever held her back. Unfortunately for her, we're more hooked than ever. Sorry DYLN, there's no holding back our love for "Hold." Peep DYLN's thoughts on the tune, below!

I wrote this song during a painful period of my life. A time where I was in constant anguish, needing to piece myself together. “Hold” is about needing to walk away from torment when the heart gets weary of fighting it’s battles. The things we love the most are also the things that hurt us the most.
