Kai Straw: The Recipe

I don't know if Kai Straw's “The Recipe” sounds more Target commercial-- imagine young adults bouncing on a trampoline with megawatt smiles and kitchen utensils in hand -- or New Orleans -- caught in a smokey jazz lounge rotating from Beignets to spoonfuls of Gumbo.  What I do know is that the rasp of Straw's voice sounds weathered down to perfection, and a soulful desert wherever you may be.
