Coachella Q&A: Sofi Tukker
I've been a fan of NYC duo Sofi Tukker, comprised of Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern, since my first sip of their debut single "Drinkee" -- a song that was nominated this year for a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording. The duo's diverse backgrounds and influences exudes contemporary pop sensibilities, but their globetrotting sound is known to sooth the ears of listeners of all genres.
After wrapping a successful SXSW, Sofi Tukker continue their debut North American headlining tour with a slew of festival stops: Lollapalooza, Panorama, Osheaga, Firefly, Outside Lands and, the creme de la creme, Coachella. Leading up to this weekend's desert adventure, which includes Sofi Tukker's Sunday performance, we had the chance to host a short Q&A with the band and talk everything from what's in his desert survival bag to which fellow-performer they're most excited to see, and lots more -- check it out, below:

We are both newbies! We are most excited to see what all the hype is about!
What's in your Coachella survival bag and does that bag include any extra special add-ons for your set that we can look forward to?
We do have a bag and there are some lush things and people in it... we will leave the rest as a surprise!
Describe how you envision the day of your performance to go:
Our set time has not but announced yet… But we envision that the day will be smooth and extra popping.
If you could have any celebrity front row during your show who would it be?
Our moms! They're celebrities to us ;)

Tuck: Tesla - cuz I really want a Tesla haha
Soph: Harmless Harvest coconut water, so I could drink as much delicious coconut water as I wanted forever
