Pale Grey: Billy

If you know me personally, you'll know I love movies almost as much as I do music.  Over the weekend, I caught the Irish action comedy Young Offenders -- which I highly recommend -- and can't help but think "Billy" by Belgian fresh indie pop band Pale Grey could have been the soundtrack to the lost scene where Conor and Jock stumble upon hallucinogens.  The song really is the ultimate multi sensory dream-pop experience with folk hues, eclectic textures and honeyed vocals, welded together by an impeccable production.

Billy depicts the portrait of a lost boy who will have to fight to find his own way by bringing into the light the gold he has in his hands. As the symbol of a contemporary youth. A youth full of potential but in which a embittered world forgets too often to trust.
