[PREMIERE] Letters to Nepal: Come Find Me
If Jim Henson's 1986 cult classic Labyrinth gets a sequel, I think "Come Find Me" by Brooklyn-based indie-electronic duo Letter to Nepal should be part of its blueprint. The song bursts with imagination that's both delightful and a little far-out. The song's through line, a myriad of ethereal tones, adds to this fairy tale fun by giving a peculiar ghost-like suspense while the song flows in sweeping meanders. But as I'm learning with each day, it's not about the destination, it's about the journey and this song has that philosophy down pat. Like inputting a secret series of numbers into a dial combination lock, each element of "Come Find Me," when combined, triggers a lever to fall over a gate releasing the lock to your own personal pot of gold.
Spring 2017 sees the duo heading out for an East Coast tour, promoting their sophomore LP, 'LUX,' and their up-coming EP including lead single “Come Find Me,” while playing shows in Chicago, Baltimore, Boston, Pennsylvania, Washington DC and New Jersey.
