Monday Wake-up Call

weekend wrap up 1

☎️☎️☎️☎️ This is your Monday wake-up call ⏰⏰⏰⏰

FLETCHER - Wasted Youth

If you’re anything like me, you often find yourself concerned over what other people may think. In my opinion, it comes in large part from being instilled with etiquette at some point along the way. If you know who Mr. Rogers is then we’re probably in the same boat in that FLETCHER’s new single “Wasted Youth” reminds us we wasted ours a long ass time ago, and we turned out just fine.

Indian Summer - Been Here Before ft. Eloise Cleary

I tell you what, I’ve definitely been here before in this state called Monday, and I don’t like it. Luckily, Indian Summer alongside the vocal prowess of Eloise Cleary help remedy one reality by introducing another.

LJ Hawk ft. Ash - High (Husky's Bobbin Head Mix)

The dreamy exploration that is LJ Hawk’s “High” featuring singer Ash gets a souped–up house remix from Aussie producer Husky. If you have a deep appreciation for smouldering synths, these are hot enough to roast marshmallows over and make the ultimate S'mores.

Tyzo Bloom - Drive (feat. JNNA)

A green light goes to Tyzo Bloom’s “Drive” featuring JNNA whose combined talents result in something yielding.

Agnese Rakovska - Vienaldzības

A good friend sent me a link to Agnese Rakovska’s music video for “Vienaldzības.” If you know me well, then you know I do NOT do horror movies, haunted houses, scary things. On the other hand, I love costume design, elaborate make-up and dramatic performances (I know, a recipe that usually lends to describing Ru Paul’s Drag Race). Here, we have “a story about a girl who collects all the indifferences” which is about all I have to go on since I’m sadly unilingual but regardless, these are noteworthy theatrics that will help spook you into your week.
