NEO 10Y: AMERIKKKA

No it is not an ode to V for Vendetta, but it very well feels like it could be. The word NEOTENY in biology means the retention of childhood or larval characteristic in adulthood. It's the idea of embracing the soul of your inner child. New word for me, and thanks to Interview Magazine who gave this postmodern-masked-newcomer an intro into society two days ago. NEO 10Y’s message is dark and reflective. It’s a perfect message of how our state of political disaster is upon us via Trump. The electronic aggression of the track feels heavily influenced by an early Squarepusher meets Apex Twin beat. Even though I don’t know much about it, I love everything about this project, the art, the message, & the beats. Thank god for new taste, new times!!!
