It's a song that will make everything suddenly feel easy, and with everything happening in the news this week, boy could we use a few minutes of pure joy. You know you've got a great song when you're pushing repeat before it even finishes!

Brasstracks - Telling The Truth ft. Lido & FatherDude

Brasstracks. More like Goldtracks or better yet Platinumtracks. As the song title says, I'm just telling the truth about "Telling The Truth." And honestly, you had me at Fatherdude. So the collective Brasstracks-Lido-Fatherdude combo has me standing paused not even sure what to do with myself. So I guess I'll just STFU, grab my air guitar (err, horn) and dance like a brassy beast until I figure it out. brb...

Brika - You

Ever-since Brika first stepped onto the scene in 2014 with songs like "Options," "Expectations," "Gold" and even her more recent cover of Shaggy's "It Wasn't Me," we've been hooked. As you can imagine, we were beyond words when she agreed to be part of our 26-artist collaborative NYE remake of Elle Fitzgerald's "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve" which you can watch here. So obviously we're excited to share with you her brand spankin' new single called "You." Question: Are you in love? Or trying to find the right offering to win over someone's heart? Send them this groovy track - it'll do the trick to whoever you dedicate it to, and also show them you're in the upper echelon of music taste-makers.

Eric Sharp + Tenova - Hallucination

I'll start by saying I love Tommie Sunshine. It's no wonder that his label, Brooklyn Fire, scooped up the release of Eric Sharp and Tenova's collaborative track, "Hallucination." It's deserving of the "sunshine" association with its bass-driven, house vibes and melodic hues. Apparently, the singer - whose voice checks off all the right boxes - is staying anonymous for now, but hopefully not for long - I'm like a kid knocking on her front door ready to play!
