DEATHS: Voices

After hearing their debut Lonewolves and then more recent releases, Sold and Saviour, i’ve come to realise that Deaths have become my new favourite dark-artist. Their music broods with deep, beautiful melodies, succumbing to tales of love lyrically and a black aesthetic. The latest release from this Berlin based trio, Voices, is possibly the most wonderful track so far… It’s one of those “play at your funeral” or “turn up at your wedding” type songs - hauntingly stunning from start to finish, and a complete musical journey across the 3 minutes it lasts.

Voices really does strike me as a song that will be the leading song to play them straight through the cool, indie label doors and right up the elevator to the boss above. I am in love, and so you should be - Romance definitely isn’t dead with Deaths.”
