[PREMIERE] Drake: Back To Back (Ronan Remix) + DVBBS: Pyramid (Ronan Remix)

Screen shot 2015-08-17 at 7.43.47 PM Where other producers stray from left of center soundscapes and jarring tones, Ronan thrives. In the first of his debut remixes, a glorious revamping of Drake's Back To Back, the hazy producer pulls on influences from the far east and the urban underground. With billowing horns, cascading metallics, and visceral shouts interspersed into this 808-infused track, we can't help but hit the repeat button on this one.

Don't skimp on the second offering from Ronan, either. The producer infuses DVBBS' Pyramid with a bombastically bass-heavy backbeat. With added raggaeton side bars, and a one-million-mile-per-minute Marimba, we're doing heart-over-heels cartwheels to this uptempo banger.

And although the name behind the Ronan moniker may be kept away under lock and key, we're told he's ghostwritten in music for more than a while. The reason for this project? His response to the repetitive state of electronic music. His mantra stems something akin to: "Producers, artists, and listeners should be challenging themselves with each and every song. That's an absolute." Don't miss it.
