K.I.D. - I Wish I Was Your Cigarette (Music Video)

After high-school, Kara and Bobby were deemed unfit for higher education. The two found themselves dwelling in their alcoholic mother's basement and tracking demos they would later classify as "garage pop". Their debut release "I Wish I Was Your Cigarette" is a gritty ode to the anguish of youth and unrequited love and the video was shot around their town, mainly on their mom's old VHS camcorder. They call it "a suburban-garage-rock-odyssey" that they didn't want to "look pretty" because "the sentiment of the song isn't particularly pretty."
