The Staves: Open (Justin Vernon Remix)

Delicious, spine-tingling, crystal clear harmonies. London folk trio The Staves’ track off their Blood I Bled EP has gotten a rework by the harmony king himself (who also happens to be their producer), Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon. Stripping away the folky fingerpicking and replacing it with powerful synth to accompany the already powerful vocal harmonies, this remix shows that simplicity and clean production are all you need for an emotional exchange between artist and listener. Their second LP, “If I Was”, is out February 2015.
