Years and Years: Desire (Tourist Dub Remix)

Following the arrival of new single "Desire," London's Years & Years reveal a remix from upcoming UK producer, Tourist.

Having been aired by Radio 1's Annie Mac the remix sees Tourist take the original into new territories; skewing it through a world of synth and dance heavy electronics, adding an underlying dub feel to the original. Olly Alexander's soaring vocal is scrambled until it takes on an almost siren-like state, all of which sits atop a murky wobbling bassline and 8-bit synth work.

Where the original track seems fit for a summer beach party, this is an altogether darker affair, more akin to a dirty warehouse party in the depths of winter.
