Thomston: Argonaut EP

Argonaut It's been a remarkable year for 18 year old Electronic Pop crooner, Thomston from Auckland, New Zealand. Having recently graduated from high school, Thomston wrote about his experience in a self produced 5 song EP, aptly titled "School Night". Shortly there after, SAIKO management, the same New Zealand based management group as super star and fellow Kiwi Lorde, signed Thomston and put him in the studio with producer Josh Fountain. This seemed to be a match made in heaven as the duo quickly produced a follow up EP titled Argonaut, that sounds similar to his first EP yet on a grander scale. The title has two meanings. The first being a person who is going on a dangerous but rewarding quest. It also was the name given to people who traveled to California during the 1849 goldrush. Either way, Thomston clearly likes to think things out. While he may be giving his music away for free now, he has the tools to embark on the epic campaign for America and it's vast musical, and monetary, treasures.
