holychild-new-shervin-lainez-650-430 It’s not hard to imagine holychild’s lead singer, Liz Nistico, gripping colorful sparklers reserved for Fourth of July when listening to the duo’s new single, “Every Time I Fall.” Summertime in Central Park is where my little imagination's gone, with the duo’s other half, Louie Diller, right there with her grinning and holding a pair of his own.

Truth be told there’s a freedom felt in holychild’s new single “Every Time I Fall.” It'll leave listeners feeling some kind of combination of empowered and buoyant- a lightness heard immediately with Nistico’s layered vocals and biting lyricism.

holychild’s pop is a sentimental, intelligent, and fun mixture- this brilliant combination allows them to use the pop genre in new ways. Combining heavy synths, cowbell, lots of percussion, “Every Time I Fall” is a bright joyride that'll leave listeners breathless. Either that’s from dancing too much or feeling utterly in awe of what holychild has created. The beauty of being able to decide for yourself lies in being an avid listener. Stay tuned.
