2013 saw itself become the year of the EP. Where these perfect servings of artist vision and expression have become the dominate way for new artists to introduce themselves to an eager music loving world. Several EP's stood out throughout the course of the year, including Betty Who's The Movement, Carousel's Palms, & HAERTS stunning Hemiplegia, but there was none who created a more solid EP than Nashville's BASECAMP. The broke through the blur of white noise that floods the internet with a haunting & rare beauty. The EP's lingering emotional grip continues to captivate months after my first, and countless subsequent, listens.

Our first glimpse of their brilliance came with the Nashville trio’s debut single ‘Emmanuel’, immediately mesmerizing with its irresistible R&B vibe that only resonates more with each listen.
