Minor Characters: Queen of Hearts
Chicago based indie-pop outfit Minor Characters performed live from Studio 10 for Chicago radio last week. What they failed to mention in the scheduling is that they would be playing a new song that would leave me with my jaw on the floor. With the perfect amount of playful classical pomp backing the voice of one of my favorite melodists, Andrew Pelletier, "Queen of Hearts" has decidedly - and without permission- stolen my heart. Keep your eyes on these Chicago characters, I have a feeling they won't stay minor for very long.
