St Lucia: Elevate (Passion Pit Remix) + Fall Tour + Debut LP Release

Indie poppers rejoice! Two of the biggest names in the game have teamed up and the result is spectacular. Passion Pit laid hands to St. Lucia's massive summer hit Elevate and have endowed it with enough spunk and color to keep you moving late into the night. Not that the song wasn't already a smash, but Passion Pit pick up the pace ever so slightly and make the track an easy go-to for getting the floor moving. They flipped the single on its head and turned it into a cosmic disco epic, complete with Wild Cherry-esque basslines and burbling synth chirps and flutters. The bridge vocals become a sing long chant that proves irresistible and adds to the already retro vibe of the original, almost calling up hints of Peter Gabriel. It's a sun kissed fiasco that serves as the perfect send off tho this way too short summer. But wait, there is more! St. Lucia revealed the cover, release date, & tracklisting for their upcoming debut LP. Rejoice!! The cover art for When The Night was designed by Leif Podhajsky, best known for his work with Tame Impala, Foals & Lykke Li. The album features a handful of already released fan-favorites, including “All Eyes On You,” “September,” and “Closer Than This,” and new songs that have quickly become live show standouts, including “The Way You Remember Me” and “Wait For Love.” When The Night will be released 10/8 via Neon Gold/Columbia.
