Chloe Lilac: Summer
Solid pop track from Brooklyn-native Chloe Lilac, and I'd expect nothing less from her. Although, living in Los Angeles these past couple months, I was reluctant to support anything Summer-related. Dear sun, let's leave the heat to Chloe's music, okay? With that said, unique lo-fi stylings and raw lyrical content are both dead ahead and rooted in personal youthful experiences making it easy to revel in; it's a distinct bedroom-pop style cast through a nostalgic lens that's all flair, no glare.
