“100 Faces is about a person turning into someone you don’t know. They hide who they actually are and present this “perfect” persona to you then you realize they have many toxic flaws. As you pull back the layers you realize they aren’t someone you want to be around.
I rented a cabin in Big Bear Lake for a weekend and brought my computer and microphone. I found myself thinking about the end of a past relationship and what that person was like now. I wrote the song surrounded by wilderness which allowed me to be alone with my thoughts (which is usually a scary place lol) but ended up making a song I really connect with.”
