Kim Petras: All the Time

Gotta give credit where credit's due. For not knowing Kim Petras personally, her music sure has brought up a lot of personal memories for me. One of those being born in a small town growing up obsessed with music icons who I'd dance to behind close doors without judgement, without worrying about whether or not it was...acceptable behavior. Just me being me. A kid with the arts in his DNA. An even better memory though, years later, I was part of a Just Say No musical in my performing arts middle school. No, that's not the funny part. The soundtrack was something else - a brand of pop far ahead of its time, something Kim would have approved of. In fact, it's very much in the vein of "All the Time." Pure pop with a dramatic flare. In any case, even back then, I could not be tamed. I was given a dance solo because I could never stick to the group choreography.
