Brooklyn-native artist Chloe Lilac is in my system! It's after 5pm somewhere in the world, right? Her brand new single "Stolen Liquor" has all the lo-fi stylings and raw lyrical content to grab your heart and burrow deep. It's an emotive track chock-full of youth, inspiration and clever cynicism with a heavy pour.
“I wrote this song about a night in my junior year of high school when I snuck out with a boy and he stole wine from his parents. We drank it by the lake in the park in between both of our houses after thanksgiving dinner. It was a really special night to me and I wanted to capture it in the song.”
