Loom:ngs: Fault Line
Nothing like coming off a holiday weekend with a to-do list longer than a CVS receipt. Cut to: me exacerbating my carpal tunnel clicking through submissions and wondering if my inbox will ever zero out. Why am I sharing this information with you? Because this is a rare case of finding a needle in a haystack and that needle is Loom:ngs and their new song "Fault Line." Something about the press release convinced my grumpy attitude problem to stfu and push play and I was hooked immediately. The opening lyrics, "the day I get my shit together is the day I die" is a huge mood, and often times my very own. Fun fact: Daniel Loumpourdis, one half of this Miami-based indie-electronic duo alongside Zola Johnson, co-wrote and co-produced Louis The Child’s “It’s Strange.” If they're after my approval, I have an entire booklet of Forever stamps for them.
