Coachella Q&A: Wuki
Do you remember when that show STOMP first hit the circuit and you were all holy shit... this is dope? Suddenly everything became an instrument. You drove your whole family crazy banging on pots and pans in the kitchen like a devil child. Wuki's music reminds me of that STOMP vibe in a very solid way. Tune that are extreme hype that brings you to your stress point and then it's all about that booty, so you're chill again.

Where were you when you first heard you'll be playing Coachella?
I was in Milwaukee playing a gig and my manager gave me a ring. It was a good day to say the least.
When the Coachella lineup was announced, what's the best reaction you received from a fan, friend, or family member?
When I told my girlfriend she almost started crying. We’ve been through a lot to get to this point and this year it’s finally paying off.
Are you a Coachella newbie? If so, what are you most excited or most nervous about?
I am! I’m super excited to just see the grounds itself. Every picture I’ve ever seen is the quintessential festival experience.
What's in your Coachella survival bag and does that bag include any extra special add-ons for your set that we can look forward to?
I feel like all I need to bring is my usbs / headphones / and sunglasses . My set is gonna be filled with brand new material and maybe some special guests!
Describe how you envision the day of your performance to go:
9AM: sleep
11AM: wake up, have a delicious cold brew
1PM: hit the gym, hit the sauna, eat a nice healthy breakfast
3PM: head to festival and check out some friends playing other stages
5PM: play my set and everyone loves it
7PM: check out the grounds with some friends and act a fool
9PM: start getting tipsy and partying
11PM: get down to beyonce haha

Beyonce 100%
What was the last song you listened to on repeat?
I think it’s Majid Jordan - King City
If you could partner with any brand, who would it be and why?
Adidas, I’m really into their windbreakers.
