Jorja Smith Feat. Stormzy: Let Me Down

A dream of mine is to write a Bond theme tune. When I am writing music I sometimes envision a video playing along side. ‘Let me down’ sounded quite Bondy and when I was listening to it I imagined it being played in a Bond film but during a scene when James Bond has gone down into an underground, dimly lit, secret bar and he approaches the Bond girl who is sitting at the bar looking very guilty because she’s done something bad and let him down.

Someone get Jorja Smith a martini -- shaken not stirred.  Theme songs have become as intrinsic to Bond films as high-speed car chases and sexual innuendos. Hopefully the franchise takes notice because this young 20 year old just checked off all the boxes with her latest single "Let Me Down," featuring UK grime artist Stormzy. Ever feel like someone you care so much about just doesn't reciprocate those feelings back? This one's for me...I mean, you.

Announced last week, Jorja will be making her Coachella debut this year (see you in the desert, girl!), followed by a US headlining tour. Dates and purchase stream link here.
