Mauwe: That's All

Everyone knows that cathartic space after a relationship when the madness is all over and you’ve had time to think clearly and reflect on the whole thing. That’s All is about a beautiful kind of relief, in which you can finally think about a person and not tie any kind of intense emotion to them.
— Mauwe

I’m not really sure I can relate to that.  I guess if you cross me once, you can hop on that auld lang syne back to away from me forever.  Call me emotional. And dramatic.  What I can relate to, however, are these sun-drenched synth lines and vocal melodies, and especially the wind-up-and-release drop at the one minute mark.  It’s very Target commercial sounding which I mean as a compliment.  I’d live in a Target commercial if I could where I’d casually bounce on trampolines while holding detergent or laughing because I’m fresh off a Crest White Strip, and Mauwe’s “That’s All” would be blaring while I’m pointing to my Beats headphones dancing in slow motion.
