I wrote Hush Hush Baby (originally called Mommy) to my mom as a birthday gift last winter in my childhood home. It is a praise to all mothers, cause it’s a hell of a job to be mother. I could never thank my mom enough for everything. Hush Hush Baby is a love song from daughter to mother.

Following its February debut, Lxandra's "Flicker" continues to gain wattage. It was a belated Valentine's gift that also introduced a singer whose star quality is so indisputable, astronomy enthusiasts and music fans-alike would agree she gives the moon a run for its shine.

With her sophomore single, the singer -- who originates from Suomenlinna, an island outside Helsinki with a population of just 800 -- tackles another international holiday winning over the world while simultaneously being crowned the best daughter ever.

Written by Lxandra for her mother on Mother's Day, "Hush Hush Baby" is a personal ode but a relatable one -- a powerful and energetic composition guaranteed to exercise the hair from your arms through its chilling harmonies and classical undertones. From beginning to end, the music enchants; the lyrics mesmerize and her presence alone is enough to make any casual listener an immediate devotee.
