So much love for Minneapolis-born, LA-based artist Morley. Her voice and compelling new song -- both clearly worn down to perfection -- balance wistful maturity with a certain earnest and eternally young expression.  Not quite pop, not quite anything else, the singer-songwriter showcases her beautiful symmetry with her music that lands somewhere between an unrepressed journal entry and a comforting arm around the shoulder.

"Sleeping In My Own Bed" is the title track from Morly's upcoming EP which marks a transition from her relying primarily on the computer to make music toward a more tactile approach, developing a song “so it can exist in human hands," Morly shared of her new material. “Lyrically I love how much it can say with such a simple thought. How it can twist to feel both lonely and empowered. It’s something I needed to hear.”
