KKS: Tune In 003
Tom & Collins - "Give Me One Reason"
With their latest release -- a re-imagined "Give Me One Reason" by Tracy Chapman -- comes an adventurous music video by Mexico City's beloved dance duo Tom & Collins that gives a lot more reasons than one on why you should "turn right back around" and "stay here." It's driving beat and sing-along lyrics being two of them. The video also gives you plenty of reasons why you should never double-cross them, especially near a jungle because if their music doesn't capture you, the traps they've hidden just might!
Ghastly x Matthew Koma - We Might Fall
Beautiful and bewitching visuals to accompany Ghastly and Matthew Koma's energy-driven collaborative track "We Might Fall." If these images were projected on a jumbo screen during a festival performance, I might literally fall from getting trampled over while busy standing in awe.
Kesha - Praying
When prayers are answered. If you haven't taken the time to watch Kesha's latest music video, it's like going to the gym: you know it's gonna take a lot out of you, but you'll leave stronger, and with zero regrets. I hope this means she's got a handle on all that Dr. Luke drama, since the song is obviously pointing its pixels towards him. From the vivid colors, emotions and editing, this moved me a couple more notches towards mega fan.
SHE Major - Je ne sais quoi
By definition, je ne sais quoi means "a quality that cannot be described or named easily." Fitting as the same applies to SHE Major, and specifically her latest music video. The song targets lust vs reality over a dark, piano-laden backdrop, accompanied with what feels like a moving editorial photo shoot. The images are so striking, I feel like one could watch the video on mute and by the last frame, somehow know all the lyrics perfectly.
