LeyeT: Call U Out
Los Angeles-based musician LeyeT (pronounced "light"), delivers a fresh blend of indie-pop and electronic hues with her sophomore single, "Call U Out." "On the darkest night, I could be your light," she sings, while the moon signals acceptance with a curtsey. From the woolly guitar strums to the stirring synth work, it's hard to imagine a sonic backdrop that wouldn't benefit from such soothing vocals.
“This was one of those songs for me that came about very naturally and freely; the words and melodies spilled out and I found that I was writing a song to provide hope for a friend while also replenishing my own hope through the process.”
