Siobhan Sainte: Burn It Down
Siobhan Sainte (pronounced Shi-Vaun for all you Gaelic newbs) comes in hot with the summertime fire jam “Burn It Down”. With a breathy seductress siren sound likely to live amongst a magical land where Tove Lo and Queen Lana reign, be fully warned this indie synth pop goddess is next in line to lure you in without mercy. And let me just say … I.(*clap*) AM. (*clap*) WITH IT (*clap CLAP*)!! Two snaps have also been allotted to this New Zealand based songstress for proving truth once again in the age old theory that girls are really running this world. “Burn it Down” carries just the right amount of no bullshit, mean what you say and say what you mean type of unapologetic realness to an otherwise softer sided scene that empowers the ear drums to march right alongside with spirited musical resistance. Siobhan Sainte is clearly putting her music on strict raw diet regimen and got me setting aside my beloved complex carbs to buy into whatever she is selling.
