KKS: Tune In 001

POWERS - Closer

Critically acclaimed alt-pop duo POWERS —Mike Del Rio and Crista Ru— continue to build toward the release of their debut full length with the premiere of the LPs title track, "Closer."  This is feel-good pop at its finest. It also further defines our love and admiration towards a band that knows how to check off all the right boxes, with powerhouse songwriting and distinct vocals.

Porter Robinson & Madeon - Shelter (Robotaki Remix)

Witnessing Porter Robinson and Madeon's last shows together at this year's Coachella Music & Arts Festival will be a forever highlight.  To me, "Shelter" is a reminder of many things, namely pursuing what truly makes you happy without hesitation.  It's a soundtrack about the richness of music and beauty of friendship, and taking cover in one's self.  On top of everything else, Robotaki drops this stucco-sturdy remix only giving more clout to an already solid foundation.

Cosmos & Creature - Unsteady (X-Ambassadors Cover)

Progressive pop duo Cosmos & Creature gift fans with a stunning new cover of X-Ambassador's "Unsteady." During their latest tour, the song was produced in the back of their tour bus in between cities, and quickly became a staple in their set. It was welcomed by audiences across the country with open arms, and ears, proven by the crowd screaming the lyrics back to them.

Midnight Pool Party - This Love

1, 2, 3 and now the fourth and final single, "This Love," from Australian electro-house producers Midnight Pool Party's debut EP called ‘Dalliance.’ If you're a fan of Jamiroquai, this one's going to be right up your alley.  Catchy, emotionally charged, and chock-full of funky and groovy productions. Don't listen to your parents, heat the pool to hot tub temps and do a late night dive into the deep end with this on blast.

Klangstof - We Are Your Receiver (jackLNDN Remix)

Klangstof are making moves!  Off the back of two stellar Coachella weekends (see our Q&A with them here) and ahead of tours with Miike Snow and The Flaming Lips, the band reveal their remix package today with the release of JACKLNDN's rework of "We are your Receiver."  All these guys ooze festival vibes with sweeping indie electronic tunes that give the sun a run for its warmth. Listen, below.
