Mystery electronic hip-hop act Crash Land recently crashed landed into my inbox making for quite the entrance. Red alert! Where did they come from? What do they want with us? I'm not this country's leader -- go find him and abduct his ass, please?
Things we know: 1) Crash Land's self-titled song comes courtesy of Martin Garrix's label STMPD RCRDS; 2) If you're in the mood for a spout of hip-hop with not-so-subtle atmospherics and guttural low end, grab your space suit, you're in luck! 3) This is more than just a single, it’s a concept, a sound, a place in time in and space.
Accompanying Crash Land's debut single is a cinematic depiction of an astronaut crash landing on an alien planet who soon discovers that he hasn’t arrived there by chance. We're told that all things will be revealed as the Crash Land story slowly unfolds over the coming months.
