They say grey is one of the rarest eye colors in the world. In terms of symbolism, people with grey eyes supposedly hold the reins well under pressure and perform exceptionally well where others fail. I don't know about all that, but I do know former London-based duo Siloet -- now solo artists Sam Welch and Liam Gallagher (laymedown) -- know how to celebrate a good thing. While they've technically gone their separate ways they still can't help but collaborate, proven with their latest track.
"Grey Eyed Girl" combines the best of the both worlds of electronic and alternative rock with everything from a synth-driven low end to organic drum, guitar and haunting vocals that collectively drive this one home.
