BATTS: For Now
This is the beginning, of anything you want. For BATTS, it's the return to her singer-songwriter roots, and realized by her latest single. "For Now" is a dreamy folk ballad that I'm fairly certain was delivered from outside Earth's atmosphere. Maybe my head is in the clouds, or my eyes are full of stars from gazing into BATT's heartfelt journey again, or maybe I'm just feeling lucky that I haven't experienced missing someone like she so clearly has. Still, the pain behind her voice fills me with such emotional intensity, making me have to press pause to write.
