[PREMIERE] Janelle Kroll: FVR (NTRIKIT Remix)

NTRIKIT comes into prominence, and in fluorescent fashion, with a high-temperature remix of “FVR” by New York City-based singer-songwriter, Janelle Kroll. With her hints of cinematic flare in one hand and his elements of artisan sound design in the other, these shimmery blasts of synths and addictive hooks will make you feel at home while whisking you away at the same time.

Think popping a roll of Mentos in your mouth and guzzling them down with a liter of Diet Coke. At first, a smooth minty taste washes over your palate, right before your entire head explodes. Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment, until NTRIKIT remixes it and makes it a memory.  Here's what the producer shared exclusively with Kick Kick snare on how this remix came to life:

I had almost finished producing this song when I began writing, and singing some melodies over it. I realized Janelle’s recent release FVR fit right on top of it. She sent over the acapella, and by the time I saw her at SoHo House in WeHo, I had a version for her to check out. Dan Edinberg (producer of Sunny Days) laid down a funky bass that fit the motif, and now we have NTRIKIT’s FVR REMIX.
