POWERS: Heavy
I'll tell you what isn't heavy. Me listening to POWERS's new single. These airborne dance moves of mine give new meaning to the phrase "call-to-arms." Truth be told, I'm also calling out to my legs, hips and bottom lip. Between the song's energetic nineties-style guitars and vocals, I'm surprised I'm not adding my own elements of air guitar and back-up vocals into a hairbrush. *double checks curtains are closed* And just when I'm about to catch my breath, I'm told "Heavy" is the first of many tracks leading up to the arrival of 'Alpha,' the critically-acclaimed genre-bending duo's forthcoming debut full-length LP. I realize that last sentence is a mouthful but, luckily for all of us, it's expected to be quite the earful, too.
