Phil Good: Growing Up

Age doesn't define maturity, some people will never grow up.  That is, however, not the case for the talented Phil Good.  The LA-based artist just dropped a new track called "Growing Up," his second official release that's part indie, part electronic, and part 'see you next Tuesday.' Let me explain.  Behind the song's exterior warm and fuzzy arrangement lies something, well, less warm and fuzzy.  To that note, Phil shares:

I think Growing Up captures that feeling of restlessness and insanity that occurs when you’re trying to get over something or someone, but your mind and your body are fighting you back as hard as they can.

So, back to my original point on maturity. Phil graduates from a place we've all been but manages to one-up the rest of us.  He not only acknowledges his feelings and veers from suppressing them, instead, he outputs a killer that's sure to get him even more love than he started with.  To be honest, someone should thank whoever inspired this song, then stick gum in their hair.  For Phil. of course.
