[PREMIERE] DYLN: Colours

When there's a sea of new music roaring over you each and every week, it's hard to stand out. But lucky for us, that's where DYLN comes in. The Brooklyn based songstress has carved a sonic niche for herself over that last year that is absolutely brilliant. On her latest release, "Colours," DYLN calls out the fakes and the frauds of the world. With a buoyant yet grandiose production backdrop from DYLN and Frequency (Eminem, Rihanna), this tune's got all the elements needed to propel it straight to the top of the charts. .

At some point you’ll be faced with people that present themselves as one thing, but in actuality, they are nothing like what they claim. “Colours” really is about calling out the bullshit and saying ‘I see who you really are.’ There’s so much noise going on in the world right now, it’s hard to tell what’s real and what’s a fabrication. “Colours” pokes a hole in any facade and gives the listener the power stance of having a perfect judge of character.
