Louis The Child Feat. Ashe: Right To It
When it comes to Robby Hauldren and Freddy Kennett, a.k.a. Louis The Child...*switches to Maury Povich voice* they ARE the father! OK, that doesn't even make sense , but neither does the amount of talent these guys have. I mean, Freddy isn't even old enough to buy a beer from 7-Eleven yet LTC is basically sound-tracking the bar, the festival and the after-party. Pretty sure I was trying to smoke weed out of a makeshift soda can pipe while wearing JNCOs when I was 20. Glad to see these boys setting the bar just a tad higher.
Here's what Robby had to say about their new single, "Right To It," featuring Ashe:
“Freddy started playing this bass line and everyone was like, ‘Yes, that.’ It’s crazy when you have that kind of energy in a room where all of a sudden everyone is instantly inspired. We wrote the entire song a couple of hours later. It has a Sunday barbeque, day-drinking type of vibe. We were like, ‘Let’s just write a song that would feel incredible when you’re hanging out, just kicking it on a beautiful day.’”
