AR Ferdinand: Lately (Ft. Daphne)

These smooth, jazzy rhodes mapped by AR Ferdinand lead the way whatever the destination. The soft, yet gripping, vocals of Daphne stand tall on the shoulder, her thumb out. But with one note, it's clear she's here to pick us up. Sparks fly and hip-hop drums, synthesizers and a groovy bass ensue, engulf, enlighten. I can already tell "Lately," off AR Ferdinand's upcoming debut 'Wild Fiction' LP, due in March, will be my seat belt today keeping me fastened as the pedal hits the floor.
