TheThursday bundle, just in time for the weekend with artwork inspired by TheWeeknd’s second mixtape, ‘Thursday.’ A mouthful, I know, but luckily an earful, too!

Astronomyy - Things I'd Do For U

If this were cricket, Astronomyy would be an "all-rounder” performing well at both batting and bowling. Since this is music, I'll just settle on artist who's doing his thing and comfortable in his own skin. It really is refreshing. As is his unique brand of guitar&b and subtle-to-obvious nuances showcased in his latest single, "Thing I'd Do For U." The lyrics "You don't know what's real until you feel" meet you at the gate, and welcome you in. Be appreciative, say thank you.

The Knocks - HEAT (feat. Sam Nelson Harris) (Manila Killa Remix)

"I feel good. I feel great." Well, what the fuck is wrong with you? This is The flippin Knocks, featuring Sam Nelson Mandela Harris, and Manila wafers yum Killa all rolled into one potent joint and it was just passed to you. Hit that. You should feel somewhere between astonished, awe-inspired, and magnificent - nothing less. The "HEAT," served on a silver platter, three Michelin stars, enjoy.

Thalab - 2 Sails

Tack! That's about my only sailing reference, sorry. Let's change course and go overboard on Barcelona cousins Thalab and their hypnotic tune called "2 Sails." Feel that wind in your hair. That's not a question. With intricate textures, bold soundscapes, and a pulsing rhythmic bass line there is no need for calling in a S.O.S. It comes as no surprise these two are generating a natural worldwide buzz, I'm just bummed it took this long for me to meet cross their path. I'm here now though.

French Horn Rebellion - Second Opinion (Bee's Knees Remix)

Unless it's French Horn Rebellion or Bee's Knees asking for a "Second Opinion" I don't need to hear it. Keep those lips zipped. File it away. Actually, this remix is a great way to test a friendship with. Say to them: "I want to play you a track and get your opinion." Push play. If they are not consumed with their own dance moves and talk during it - at all - they are not your friend. No second opinion needed on that.

Unlike Pluto - Someone New (feat. Desi Valentine)

The latest output from producer Unlike Pluto, "Someone New," featuring soulful singer Desi Valentine, has flash mob written all over it. Think Broadway production of West Side Story, the stage resembles a darkly lit back alley, you're sitting in the center of the auditorium minding your own business trying to sneak candy from your pocket, then suddenly the entire surrounding audience breaks into choreography. The song title has new meaning as you look to your side and see a loved one "in on it."
