kult kyss: This Boy's In Love (The Presets Cover)

With Kult Kyss's debut single, "Get Up Boy," we...got up and gave it an 'oh boy!' It was a memorable entrance by the Melbourne electronic duo and introduction to their hybrid art-music project, and the online praise was unanimous. Back to remind this boy (me) of his newfound love, and also to celebrate Aus Music Month is kult kyss and their cover of "This Boy’s In Love" by fellow Aussies The Presets. It's chock-full of experimental progressive sounds and raw layered vocals that are at first reminiscent of a Japanese dojo, but at the 1:45 mark break way down a busy neon street of downtown Tokyo. Either way, it's music for adventurers and deserves a bow out of respect.
