Cosmos & Creature - Young (Win and Woo Remix)
Two on two action, rated R for "remix." A couple months back, Cosmos & Creature hit a bullseye with their single "Young." It splashes those fountain of youth waters leaving listeners drenched, feeling refreshed, and still optimistically looking ahead. To further validate this as one of 2016's best, Win and Woo give their stamp of approval injecting their signature flare into this remix, achieving an equally shiny gem.
Anna Straker - Serious (FONO Remix)
If you follow Kick Kick Snare's Spotify playlist then you're probably already aware and likely feeling some of the side effects caused by FONO's remix of "Serious" by Anna Straker. Flexibility, refined abs, glowing skin...all a result of incessant dancing, quickly followed by applause for said dance moves, great music taste and setting a good example.
Henri - Fine Day Feat. Anita Briem (Applebottom Late Night Remix)
This sounded so familiar but I just couldn't put my finger on it. After a little digging, "It's A Fine Day" is a 1992 cult classic by Opus III, which is actually a cover of Jane's original version in 1983. Flash forward, Henri's "Fine Day" featuring singer Anรญta Briem is all of the above with a renewed emphasis on hypnotic, breathy vocals and interweaving synth arpeggio. Most of the time I'm talking about time travel it's code for blacking out, but not here. We're talking decades in discussion and landing our DeLorean DMC-12 on a remix by one of the UK's most respected young DJ/producers called Applebottom. I'm down with the deeper synth hooks, but maybe someone should fly me from LA to London to fact check this in person just in case.
